The mission of the Avila University Radiologic Science Program is to provide quality curriculum and experiences that graduate students who possess competent skills for successful employment as registered technologists, aspire for continued growth in their knowledge and are prepared to be future leaders in the field of radiology.
Radiologic Science is in good standing with accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) along with certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).This program meets Title IV requirements in Missouri and varies state to state outside of Missouri. If you are a student wanting to obtain professional licensure outside of Missouri, you must check with the specific state requirements.
As the only baccalaureate program in the area, the radiology program offers students a chance to develop specific technical skills while obtaining a liberal arts education. Upon graduating, our students have gone on to work as radiographers, technologists in advanced modalities, managers, instructors and so much more. The program is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Classes for this program are in-person on campus as a traditional Undergraduate program and students must be accepted in to the program as part of an application process.

BS in Radiologic Science can pursue careers including radiologic technologists in the fields of diagnostic, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, mammography, cardiac and vascular radiography. With pathways to sonography, radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. Our graduates also find careers in:
