Avila University offers professional, technology-enabled conference spaces ideal for meetings, seminars, retreats, and organizational events. Whether you’re planning a business presentation, training workshop, community roundtable, or networking event, our conference rooms provide a comfortable, distraction-free setting tailored to your needs.
Each space is equipped with essential tech amenities including projectors, screens, Wi-Fi access, and flexible seating arrangements — making it easy to host everything from intimate board meetings to large group discussions.
Located just off Wornall Road in South Kansas City, our campus is easily accessible and offers on-site parking for your guests.

Alumni Lounge

A smaller, more relaxed space perfect for breakout sessions or informal gatherings.
- Capacity: Approx. 20–30
- Rates: $300 (full day), $200 (half), $100 (short-term)
Marian Center Dining Hall

An open, banquet-style space with capacity for larger groups.
- Capacity: Up to 500 guests
- Full Day: $1000
- Half Day: $600
- Short-Term: $400
- Great for: Conferences, fundraising events, large team luncheons
Barefoot Room

Compact and quiet — great for small teams or one-on-one interviews.
- Capacity: 20
- Rates: $300 (full day), $200 (half), $100 (short-term)

Booking Details
To maintain a smooth reservation process and provide your group with the best experience, please note:
- Rentals are available Monday–Saturday
- Setup, teardown, and cleanup time must be included in your reservation window
- Additional labor costs apply for events outside normal operating hours (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Mon–Fri)
- Tech assistance available upon request
Insurance & Liability
For all non-Avila University organizations:
- A Certificate of Liability Insurance is required with a minimum $1,000,000 coverage naming Avila University as additionally insured
- Release of Liability forms required for external attendees if event includes physical activity
