Sarah Sullivan is the Director of Student Success and Faculty Support and adjunct instructor at Avila University in Kansas City. Sarah has been with Avila for 10 years. Through outside partnerships with the University, Sarah has delivered support and coursework to corporate employees. Sarah’s primary goal is to ensure student success from all parameters. She ensures that communication flows and standards are in place for advising processes. She works closely with subject matter experts to solidify best practices of instructional design and online learning by instilling consistency, engagement, and interaction in all courses. She has extensive experience in the development and teaching of face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities. She supports and works closely with the Dean of the College of Professional Studies.
Sarah has worked in the areas of accounting, budgeting, instructional design, project management, and teaching. She holds a Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in teaching and learning, along with Graduate Certificates in Instructional Design and Project Management. She teaches Strategies for Academic Success, Instructional Design, Project Management, and Portfolio Review courses. Her passion is to design courses that are highly engaging. Sarah enjoys learning new concepts and passing her knowledge on to others.
