I have an educational background in psychology and education, focusing on guidance and counseling. I have earned my certification as a 7-12 School Counselor and have taught a variety of Student Success and Academic Strategies courses in higher education. I specialize in the areas of the state teacher certification process, student recruitment and retention, the admissions process, course scheduling, and program policy. I coordinate the enrollment and advising of all Graduate Education students, which includes students in the Graduate Teacher Certification program and the Master’s in Education program. I also serve as a member of the Graduate Studies Committee at Avila.
