Melissa Morgan has been a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker since 2001, providing focused therapy for adolescents, adults, and families. Ms. Morgan’s expertise includes outpatient therapy and crisis services: addressing areas ranging from parenting dilemmas; depression and anxiety treatment; behavior and anger management; and abuse and trauma recovery. In addition, she has used her knowledge to train law enforcement and other professionals in mental health issues and presented parenting courses. Her approach to treatment is grounded in empowerment— helping clients to know that they can build a balanced, authentic, and peaceful life despite challenging circumstances.  My passion is helping people better themselves to be productive members of their communities. I hope to share this knowledge through my teaching experience of social work students and supervision of social work professionals.
