Jon Mandracchia is a licensed psychologist in Missouri and Mississippi. His practice experiences include counseling as well as criminal forensic evaluations (e.g., competency to stand trial). He teaches courses related to counseling psychology (e.g., intelligence testing, counseling theories, abnormal psychology) and forensic psychology, as well as General Psychology. His research focuses on suicide, particularly among offender populations, as well as maladaptive thinking patterns that perpetuate criminal behavior (i.e., criminogenic thinking).
I am beginning my first year at Avila this fall, and am very much excited at the opportunity to join the faculty and staff in serving the students here!
