Prior to teaching, Dr. Higgins practiced in hospital and community settings. Currently, Dr. Higgins is the Assistant Director and a Lead Teacher at Red Bridge United Methodist Church Early Childhood Center. During her spare time, Dr. Higgins likes to spend time with her husband and two children watching fun movies. When time allows, binge watching Golden Girls is a special treat!
Dr. Higgins has taught Health Psychology, Treatment Disorders, Helping Relationships II, and Differential Diagnoses of Mental Health Disorders.
