Dr. Bostrom is certified to teach online and enjoys using active learning activities applicable to CJ careers to engage her students.
Research interests include communities and crime, rural criminology, environmental criminology, and macro criminology. Her dissertation entitled “Community Type in Context: Expectations of Guardianship and Victimization Experiences on a College Campus” included original survey data collection.
