National Hispanic Heritage Month takes place annually between September 15 to October 15, 2022, and provides a time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Hispanic and Latino community.
The 2022 Hispanic Heritage Month observance theme is: “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation.” The theme encourages us to ensure that all voices are represented and welcomed to help build stronger communities and a stronger nation.
This 30-day period actually traverses two calendar months and provides an opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and contributions of Americans whose ancestry can be traced to over 20 Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, including Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
