Avila University is proud to announce an ADDITIONAL LOCATION in Goodyear, Arizona!
Avila Arizona, located in Goodyear, Arizona, is an Additional Location as defined by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Additional Locations typically do not provide a full range of administrative and student services staffed by the facility’s personnel. Instead, such services may be offered remotely from the main campus or another campus.
According to the HLC, an Additional Location is a physical site where instruction is delivered, and where students are required to be present for coursework, which may include interactive TV, video, or online instruction. A facility is considered an Additional Location if 50% or more of a distance-delivery program is available through one or more of these modalities at that site.
This location is home to five STEM Graduate programs.

Admission Criteria
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Provide official transcripts along with the English language translation.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all undergraduate or graduate coursework.
- English language proficiency requirements (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent from an accepted test such as TOEFL, Duolingo, Pearson PTE Academic etc.
- Statement of Finance
- A copy of student’s passport
