Avila University Announces New Alumni Board Members

(October 31, 2017) KANSAS CITY, MO – Avila University has announced eight newly installed members of its Alumni Board. The Avila Alumni Board serves as an advisory body with the responsibility to advise the University on alumni-related policies and activities.  

  1. Bernadette (Weeks) Barthweeks, ’09 (B.A. history), co-lead at St. Therese North Early Education
  2. Carmen (Canzonere) Bisacca, ’89 (B.A. psychology), teacher at Our Lady of the Presentation School
  3. Chantell Garrett, ’12 (M.A. management), senior stakeholder engagement advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City
  4. Emilee (Bilyeu) Rehling, ’10 (B.A., communication), marketing manager at Armed Forces Insurance
  5. Banen (Chaney) Royer, ’10 (B.A. religious studies), head cheer and dance coach at University of Saint Mary
  6. Ann (Ott) Ventrillo, ’72 (B.S.N. nursing), retired nurse
  7. Mindy Miller-Waldron, ’94 (B.A. art), digital media arts/art department instructor Olathe North High School
  8. Scott White, ’85 (B.S. chemistry), administrator principal HS&E at Honeywell FM&T
