Mariah Masterson
Mariah Masterson is a Sophomore. In Intimate Apparel, she plays the role of Esther Mills. She’s honored to be a part of this beautiful production and would like to thank the director, Teresa and Stage Management, Taja and Alex for being so sweet with her.
Micah Cheek
Micah Cheek is a sophomore Acting and tech/ design major. Intimate Apparel will be Micah’s 6th show at Avila . He is the sound designer, He loves the atmosphere of rehearsal and the creativity of his peers. He would like to thank his parents and friends and his lovely Jocelyn.
Gaby Dawn
Gaby Dawn is in her second to last semester as a member of this department. She is on stage for this show as Mrs. Van Buren and has loved every minute of this process. The rest of the cast and crew for this show have been absolutely amazing, and it is many of her friends last show who she knows will move on to do amazing things.
Abigail Dearing
Abigail Dearing is a Senior at Avila. She is pursuing her B.F.A in Theatre Design, Technology, and Management. Abigail is the Digital Media Designer for this production. Some of her previous credits include scenic and digital media designer for The Laramie Project, sound designer for Unnecessary Farce, and costume designer for The Comedy of Errors. Intimate Apparel is her fifteenth show at Avila, and she is very excited to participate in Avila shows this semester.
Gaby Dawn
Gabriella Fast is a senior and she is majoring in Theatre Technology & Management at Avila University, main focus being stage management and she is working backstage for this play. Last semester she was the Assistant Stage Manager for Paul Slade Smith’s Unnecessary Farce, as well as the Stage Manager for William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. She stage managed Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice last year and assisted stage managed Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure’, and Joe Masteroff’s ‘She Loves Me’ in 2023 at Avila.
Miriam Gleeson
Miriam Gleeson is a senior at Avila! Her major is Radiologic Science, but her love of theatre keeps her coming back to production involvement. She has worked extensively backstage for The Comedy of Errors, Unnecessary Farce, First Date, Eurydice, The Laramie Project, Hay Fever, She Loves Me!, Measure for Measure, Clue, RENT, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, and The Imaginary Cuckold in the past. She also played several ensemble parts in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and was an ensemble soloist in RENT. She’s very grateful for the opportunity to continue involvement in the technical aspects of this production!
Lauren Grimes
Lauren Grimes is a freshman. This is her third show and she is thrilled to be a part of telling this beautiful story. She thanks Teresa, the stage management and design team, and Matt for the wonderful opportunity.
Kelsey Harms
Kelsey Harms is the Asst. Costume Designer, as well as being a part of the Costume and Wardrobe crew for this production. She is a senior majoring in Design and Technology. Previous productions she has worked on include: The Imaginary Cuckold (2021), The Curious Incident of The Dog of The Night-Time (2022), RENT (2022), CLUE (2022), Measure for Measure (2023), She Loves Me (2023), Hay Fever (2023),The Laramie Project (2023), Eurydice (2024), First Date (2024), Unnecessary Farce (2024), and The Comedy of Errors (2024). She would like to thank her family, peers, and friends for being there to help her grow as a future theatre-maker!
Angel Hernandez
Angel Hernandez is a sophomore. During Intimate Apparel she is working the box office tickets and working on some other crews. She is excited to see how this show plays out and for her role in the props department in our next show.
Nathan Hummell
Nathan HUmmell, a sophomore in our department, will be seen onstage as Mr. Marks. He has worked very hard on this production and can’t wait to see how the audience enjoys the show!
Coltyn Ledbetter
Coltyn Ledbetter is a freshman Theater Major with an Acting concentration. He is the Dramaturg and Head Carpenter for Intimate Apparel as well as a member of the Electrics Crew! He is excited for his first college show as a techie!
Tucker Rushing
Tucker Rushing is a Senior B.F.A. at Avila and the Assistant Lighting Designer and Head Electrician for this production. This is his second assistant design position and sixth time as Head Electrician. He loves long walks on the beach and would like to thank his Family and Friends.
Ta’ja Snipes
Ta’ja Snipes is a senior at Avila University graduating with a BFA in Theater, Design Technology & Management. This is Ta’ja’s last undergraduate design where she served as the Scenic Designer, as well as, Scenic Charge Artist, Assistant Stage Manager, Assistant Technical Director. Ta’ja would like to thank everyone who’s watched her grow these past four years at Avila and for the countless memories.
Alex Valdez
Alex Valdez is a Junior; he is a Film major and Theatre minor. For the production of Intimate Apparel, he is the Stage Manager, this will be his first ever time doing this position. He is grateful for the Director Teresa for her grace and the SM team, Ta’ja for her patience, as well as the most amazing cast to work with. He’d also love to thank his lovely partner for always listening :)
Nick Youngblood
Nick Youngblood is one of our amazing sophomores here at Avila. You may recognize him from last years Eurydice by Sara Ruhl in which he plays Orpheus. For this show we see him as George Armstrong, and Esthers lover. He has done an amazing job stepping up for this show and bringing his character to life!
