Yes! We work with students to explore their career interests and which majors best fit their goals. Additionally, we utilize career assessments and an array of resources and connections that allow you to explore the industries and interest areas tied to major academic fields at Avila. Career Services can also help you utilize data—such as places of employment, salaries, work environments, opportunities for advancement—to help you make the best decision for your career path.
You are not alone! Many students change their major while in college. Sometimes students discover they do not enjoy their major, while other times students might fall in love with a topic they had not previously considered. Either way, we will help you find career opportunities that align with your new major. We encourage you to check with your academic advisor to see if changing your major will change your graduation date.
