SOAR Dates

Get excited — it’s almost time to kick off your Avila experience! Below are your two chances to attend SOAR (Student, Orientation, Advising & Registration). Register early and secure your spot!

Summer Bridge Program

Avila University’s Summer Bridge Program is designed to support select incoming students as they transition into college, providing them with the tools and resources needed for academic success. This structured program offers students a head start on their college journey while earning credit and building essential skills for the fall semester.

Program Benefits & Requirements:

• Engage in a structured summer experience – Classes run Monday through Thursday, 9 AM – 4 PM
• Successfully complete the Summer Bridge course with a C or higher
• Attend SOAR on July 17 and register for Fall 2025 courses as a full-time student
• Enroll in FS 101 – Pass with an A or B to waive ED 101 in the fall
• Meet with a Persistence Specialist in the first week of classes to create a personalized success plan with monthly check-ins
• Complete Fall 2025 with a 2.0 cumulative GPA
