I have 25 years of experience working for a financial institution regulator; I served as a bank examiner for nearly 10 years and as a financial analyst during the last 15 years. Concurrent with much of my civilian career, I served in the Army National Guard. After completing a 22-year career, I retired from the National Guard in 2016. Now, I teach business finance and economics courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels and continue my career in financial regulation. From an educational perspective, I obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration and was awarded the Charter Financial Analyst and Financial Risk Manager designations from the CFA Institute and the Global Association of Risk Professionals, respectively.
