distance Education Reciprocity Agreements
The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) is a nonprofit organization that helps expand students’ access to educational opportunities and ensures more efficient, consistent, and effective regulation of distance education programs. Students enrolled in distance education courses who have a complaint about a course or experience should follow the complaint policy for their respective home institution.
Student complaints relating to consumer protection laws offered under the terms and conditions of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), must first be filed with the institution to seek resolution.
If a resolution is not achieved, a consumer would contact the Missouri Home State SARA Portal Entity. The SARA State Portal Entities are listed at https://www.nc-sara.org/state-portal-entity-contacts
