The Elementary Education Concentration
Elementary Education
Recognizing the importance of classroom and field-based instruction, the curriculum provides teacher candidates with multiple opportunities to work in elementary classrooms throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Throughout the program, professors will prepare teacher candidates to be quality teachers who positively impact the learning of children and youth. The degree program prepares Avila students to teach elementary (grades 1-6), students. Available as a traditional Bachelor of Arts or for adult students as a Bachelor of Science degree.Transferring to Avila?
