The 49th Annual Steer Dinner, Avila’s largest fundraiser of the year, will be held on March 1, 2025 at the Overland Park Convention Center.

FAQ

How do I purchase tickets?Tickets can be purchased online through our event registration page. If you prefer to purchase tickets by phone, please contact us at 816.501.3613.

What is the dress code for the evening? The dress code for the fundraiser dinner is Western Formal. Break out those cowgirl boots, bolo ties, and your best cowboy hat!

Is my ticket purchase tax-deductible? A portion of your ticket purchase is tax-deductible. With your commitment, we will provide you with a receipt indicating the tax-deductible amount. Please consult with your tax advisor for specific details.

What will the funds raised during the dinner be used for? All funds raised during the dinner will go directly to Avila University’s scholarship fund. Your contributions will make a significant impact on the lives of our students.

Can I donate to the cause even if I cannot attend the event? Absolutely! If you are unable to attend the dinner but would still like to contribute, you can make a donation online through our donation page. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
