Student Life
Student Life is focused on getting students engaged at Avila! There are so many ways you can participate in the campus community and find spaces where you belong. We cover everything from the student organizations you can join to all the events happening across campus. You will interact with this office when you are joining the community through a transfer orientation where we review your resources, address any needs you have, and make sure you are ready to be successful within the Avila community. Our office is also responsible for the big events happening on campus like Homecoming Week, Spring Fling, and Stress Relief Week, which happens before finals week of each academic semester. We host events like service opportunities, silent disco, trivia, tours of museums in Kansas City, giveaways, free meals, career preparation, movie showings, and more! Not finding something you’re interested in, let’s create it!
