Avila University is preparing its facilities, protocols, and procedures to open the campus for the Fall 2020 semester. “We can’t wait to see our students back on campus this fall,” said Avila President Ronald Slepitza, Ph.D., CSJA. “We are taking the steps now in preparation for whatever the CDC, the State of Missouri, and the Kansas City guidelines will be at that time.”
As the COVID-19 virus situation and responses remain fluid and will continue to be throughout the summer, the University is preparing for numerous contingencies. The health and safety of Avila’s students, faculty, and staff will be the overriding priority in these preparations. “We are moving into an uncertain future, but our intent is to be fully back with on-campus classes and our extracurricular experiences this fall,” said Slepitza.
