(May 8, 2017) KANSAS CITY, MO – Seventy-seven Avila University students were honored on April 29 at the 31st Annual Honors Ceremony. Eight students were elected into Delta Epsilon Sigma, the national scholastic honor society for students of universities with Catholic traditions and seven students were elected into Kappa Gamma Pi, the national Catholic college graduate honor society exemplifying leadership, scholarship, faith and service. Twenty Avila students were listed as Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. One faculty member, Joe Roberts, Ph.D., was named Professor of the Year.
