administration, and brand development. He received his Ph.D.

As
an educator, Snorgrass describes his teaching style as intellectually
demanding, introspective and visionary. He expects students
to develop an appreciation and understanding of both the art
and science of advertising, media, technology and other communication
mediums then to become confident in this knowledge and it's
applications in the real world. He teaches with a "bottom-line"
orientation and a genuine sensitivity for the holistic nurturing
of his students. His teaching philosophy is geared to prepare
students not just to react to the world, but to prepare them
to change the environment and society in which they must exist
through forces of their own.

Snorgrass'
scholarly research on the instrumentation of technology in
educational, entertainment, advertising, and communication
venues has been met with national acclaim. He also has a strong
academic and intellectual interest in exploring the image
and use of minorities and women in advertising; the historical
significance of advertising's influences on developments in
American society; as well as the urban ‘hip-hop” culture and
its unabashed influence on the direction of advertising, fashion,
film, language, publishing, art, politics, religion, legislation,
technology, behavior, and other cultural dynamics of our lives.
