Program Expenses
Costs that should be anticipated in the nursing program are listed below. Costs are subject to change.
JUNIOR YEAR: (Estimated: $1,636 for the year - could be more or less)
- Program fees ($255/semester)
- Colored scrubs (ordered through nursing program) ($25/set)
- Lab coat ($30)
- Stethoscope ($23-$232)
- Pen light ($2-$4)
- Watch with second hand (varies)
- Shoes for clinical – refer to dress code (varies)
- ID badge holders ($4.50)
- Bandage scissors ($3-$8)
- Books (varies $500-$700/semester)
- ASNO membership dues (optional but recommended) ($20)
- Alcohol/Drug Screen (approx. $60)
- Other clinical agency/site requirements (varies)
SENIOR YEAR: (Estimated Minimum: $822)
- Program fees ($255/semester)
- Graduation Fee. This fee includes rental of hood, cap and gown at approximately $100. This fee is due with final semester bill.
- Class Ring. Class rings are available for purchase during the spring semester of the senior year. Purchase from university bookstore ($50+)
- Nursing Composite Photograph. All students are requested to have a photographic sitting for a composite. You may purchase pictures for personal use. A sitting fee of approximately $35 will be required.
- State Board Application and National Council Licensure Examination. Licensure fee (varies by state), submitted with the licensure application. A test service fee of $200 is submitted with the NCLEX application and fee.
- Final transcript fee of $7.00 and form to accompany the state board licensure examination application
