Responsibilities  

Fall 2013: 

  • Clinical adjunct instructors with senior level students in adult med/surg (12 hour days), pediatrics (10 hour days), or OB placements (10 hour days). 
  • Health Assessment lab instructors.  Labs T 2-3:50; F 8-9:50; F 10-11:50.  Will consider hiring for 1, 2, or 3 labs. 

Spring 2014:

  • Clinical adjunct instructors with junior level students in adult med/surg (10 hour days)
  • Clinical adjunct instructors to supervise senior level students and preceptors in high acuity, community, and/or capstone placements.  Capstone last 4 weeks of semester—days vary.
Qualifications   Master’s degree in nursing preferred or current enrollment in Master’s program.  Current clinical competency required. Placements primarily on Tuesday and/or Thursdays.  Missouri nursing license required.

Responsibilities   Recruits adult undergraduate students in non-traditional degree programs for Avila Advantage.  Provides assistance with electronic marketing campaigns.  Works with recruitment team to achieve program goals.  Provides guidance and support to students throughout the entire recruiting, admissions, and advising continuum. Participates in employer education fairs and other community events. This is a part time position 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 3 days per week; occasionally works weekends and evenings.
Qualifications  

Bachelor’s Degree; Prior experience in sales or recruiting preferably in a higher education environment. Experience with lead management, follow up, and ability to overcome challenges while meeting deadlines. Ability to build and support relationships with key constituents. Actively participates as an effective team member. Ability to present and speak in front of small and large groups of people including ability to speak about degrees and benefits of programs to varying audiences. Ability to deal effectively with adult students and specific needs of this population. Requires proficient skills computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities   The Admission Representative manages a recruitment program targeted at prospective college students in a specified geographic region.  This individual represents Avila University at college fairs, high school visits and recruiting events on campus.  The Admission Representative also assists with and/or coordinates project work and event planning for prospective students and families.  The position requires extensive travel, phoning and correspondence to maintain the external contacts necessary to reach enrollment goals.  Frequent evening and some weekend work required.
