This master’s degree prepares people to teach in ESL programs. For students who have an initial teaching certificate, this program meets all of the requirements for an advanced certificate in ESOL (K-12) as well as the Master’s degree.
For persons who do not possess initial teacher certificate, this Master’s degree prepares them to teach in an adult ESL program.

| All classes are three hours. This master’s degree requires a minimum of 33 credit hours. Any qualified graduate elective hours may be applied to reach the 33 required hours. Students must pass a background check prior to participation in ED 695 Practicum. |
