MANAGEMENT
Students who major in Management are well-positioned for various roles in the corporate world. Typically, such students are trained to take up positions in Human Resources, Organization Development and Consulting, in addition to entry-level management positions. They are also encouraged to pursue internships with local firms. The program, which can include relevant courses from the Department of Psychology, also prepares students for Graduate School.

Benefits Analyst I - $46,000
Researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers corporate benefit plans and programs. Monitors benefit trends in the business environment and must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation.
Compensation Analyst I - $47,600
Responsible for administering company compensation programs. Evaluates and analyzes salary data, determines pay grades, and conducts or participates in compensation surveys. Conducts job evaluations and may serve on job evaluation committees.
Employee Relations Specialist I - $44,700
Administers human resources policies and procedures that pertain to employee relations. Researches and analyzes data pertaining to human resources.
Employee Relocation Representative I - $42,400
Facilitates the relocation process and performs all administrative duties pertaining to relocation. Assists the employee and/or family on all facets of relocation, including sale of current residence, lease cancellation, home purchase or rental, realtor selection, mortgage assistance, and movement of household goods.
Employment Representative I - $40,700
Recruits, interviews, checks references, makes offers, and conducts orientation for new employees. Performs exit interviews and processes change of employee status.
Human Resources (HR) Generalist - $45,200
Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas. Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures. May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
Operations Specialist - $33,200
Through the use of relational databases and other reporting tools, compiles data pertaining to the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization's internal processes. Prepares reports for management review.
Trainer Specialist - $41,700
Designs and conducts company training programs. Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period and for career development. May be involved in initial plan design and existing plan enhancements.
