The purpose of the Business Administration minor is to provide students with a basic understanding of the business functions of accounting, economics, marketing, management and business law. Students will develop an appreciation for the role business plays within society. This minor is an excellent choice for those individuals who want a better understanding of how business operates especially if their profession involves working within corporations or non-profit entities. For a minor in Business Administration a minimum grade of “C” or better is required in all classes. This minor is available to all majors other than accounting and business.

SPECIAL NOTE: A student successfully completing 21 hours of the proper course work with a 3.0 GPA or above in the minor of Business Administration may be eligible to waive up to 15 hours towards earning an MBA.
