Avila Women's Soccer Has 2 Players
Kansas City,
MO – The Lady Eagles ended their regular season last week and this
week the Eagles were awarded with 2 All Heart of America Conference
awards winners.
Rachelle Luster,
senior forward from Lenexa, Kansas, was named 1 st Team All HAAC.
She finished the regular season with 11 goals (team leader), 2 assists,
24 points (team leader), and also lead the team with 4 game winning
goals. In the HAAC, Luster finished 3 rd with 0.61 goals per game,
5 th with 1.94 shots on goal, and 2 nd in the HAAC with 4 game goals.
Lisa York, freshman
defender from Raymore, Missouri, was named 3 rd Team All HAAC. As
a freshman, York started in all but 2 games all season and was an
integral part of the Eagles 4 shut-out victories.
The Eagles finished
5 th in the HAAC with a final record of 9-8-1 overall and 4-4-1
in the HAAC. They play in the opening round of the HAAC Conference
Tournament against William Jewel College at 7 PM tonight in Liberty,
Missouri. Avila finished the regular season with a 1-0 overall William
Jewel College on November 3 rd .
